Friday Night Lights has pretty much shot to the top of my fave TV shows right now. At first I didn't think I would dig it at all I mean it is about football. But it's so damn good it's not fair. I feel as if Tim Riggins and I should be best buds in real life (afer you Anto!) Also having Explosions In The Sky as the main source of music throughout the show doesn't hurt anything at all.
It also stars Minka Kelly (Lyla Garrity) who is pretty much the foxiest thing ever. Long brown hair, check. Southern belle, check. Wears cowboy boots, check. A place in my heart, check.

So the guys and myself along with about 1500 Toronto peeps made the 7+ hour trip to Columbus, Ohio. Between stumbling onto the bus at 4am still drunk, buying two 24's for $40 bucks at duty free (greatest thing ever), proceeding to drink on the bus at 11am up untill the game at 4pm I can only say that the trip was a success. The game itself was sub par but we managed to steal a point at the end anyways. The Toronto supporters were amazing (apart from the dude who tore apart the railing and threw it at security). When we left Toronto we left with 54 people, on the way back we came with 48. Needless to say some people got arrested. The bus ride took forever but the tailgating and the game was so worth it. Next year we're skipping the bus and driving/flying down. Good trip, good bro-downs, good result. See ya next time Columbus.

Champions League Draw

The Champions League draw was today and the draws are:

Manchester United Vs. FC Porto

Liverpool Vs. Chelsea

Arsenal Vs. Villareal

Barcelona Vs. Bayern Munich

Pretty happy with who Manchester drew, I'm confident we shall not be moved. I was kind of hoping to get Bayern for some reason.

Predictions: Manchester, Chelsea, Arsenal and Bayern.

Screw you Tim Horton's. I read an article saying that if you live in Ontario your odds of winning GREATLY decrease than any other province. They say your odds of winning are one in eight but in Ontario it's really like one in twenty. What the fuck is that about? Makes perfect sense really, for the last three weeks I've only won a single fucking cup of coffee. Bullshit. Will I stop buying coffee's from them? Nope. I'm actually enjoying a large black as I type this at work. Is that what irony is? End of rant.

New York

I went to Brooklyn, NY to visit my bfff Danto for a couple of days. It was great to hang out with her again and walk around the city. She took me to Central Park, American Museum of Natural History (Squid and the Whale), Soho, 30 Rock, Bushwick, Times Square and a bunch of other places I can't remember the names of. We went to Wild Ginger, Red Bamboo and Life almost every day and I haven't eaten vegan food that good EVER! It's not fair. We boozed it up in a couple of spots but my fave by far was The Wreck Room. If I lived in Bushwick I would hang out there a couple a times a week for sure. $2 dollar beers? I can't get over how cheap the drinks at most bars are. Once again it's not fair. On my last day on the way to the bus stop I stepped on this dudes sneakers on the train and seriously thought my life was over. He was so pissed and kept on mumbling and giving me the death stare. So Anto thanks for having me over and I can't wait to visit again in a few months. Miss you!!
